Day Camp



Horsemanship camp is for beginner riders all the way up to children who can walk and trot on the horse.  It is designed to teach riding and horsemanship to the children as well as allow for fun throughout the day.  We will do crafts, bathe horses and play games too.  Bring your lunch in a cooler every day.  We will riding in the morning every day except Friday where we will ride in the afternoon so that parents can come early and watch children ride.
Of course parents who want to stay with their children, are welcome to stay and help out at the camp!

Be sure to sign up for these camps early as we will only be taking up to 8 campers per week.

Horsemanship Camp

Horsemanship Camp will teach children the basics of riding.  Children will learn how to control the horse on the ground and in the saddle.  They will learn horse care and grooming including, bathing and braiding manes and tails. Children will ride both English and Western and each child will have indiviual riding instruction to improve riding skills.  This camp will accomoated riders who have never ridden, up to Walk/Trotters.  Limited to 8 campers.




Western Horsemanship Camp
July 19th through July 23rd
M - F 8am till 1pm
Ages 5 to 12

Western Riding Camp is a totally western themed riding camp geared for younger beginner riders.  Explore our Western riding events, such as roping and other rodeo events.  This camp is open to younger riders and the price is more economical due to the shorter day.


English Equitation Camp
Aug 2nd through Aug 6th
M - F 8am till 1pm
Ages 7 to 15

English Equitation Camp is a totally English riding camp geared to develop your English equitation and riding skills!  We will explore the world of English Riding, Dressage and Jumping!  This camp is open to beginner riders and the price is more economical due to the shorter day.

Pinellas Horse Club
 

Meeting: Starts back up in August 2010!!
             Monthly Dues:   $50.00 per month
OPEN FOR REGISTRATION!

This club is geared toward children ages 7 – 14 who are beginners with less than 2 years of riding.   It is designed to teach horsemanship, horse care and horse science.   Children can attend two meetings during the month and will learn ground work, horse science, care and riding.  During bad weather, children will do fun learning projects and horse related games and crafts.   Riding is a part of the club but is not designed to take the place of riding lessons.  The club is for learning and fellowship and is for the true horse lover to learn about the whole horse experience.   




Petite Pony Club/Lessons
 

Meeting: Two weekend days per month
scheduled monthly on the calendar
 All Year Long
Dues: $25.00 PER RIDE
OPEN FOR CLASSES

This lesson is geared toward the younger children ages 2 - 7.   It replaces the Petite Pony Lessons.
This is a riding lesson geared for younger riders.  It's scheduled  twice per month to interact with the horses and ponies.  Mommies are required to stay and can participate too!   We will play games with the horses and with each other and learn about horses while riding in a safely led lesson.
